Application of Rotary Kiln: 
1) Rotary kiln is the Thermal Equipment, heating materials, in cement industry for calcining clinker.   
2) It is also used in various industries, such as cement, nonferrous metallurgy, ferrous metallurgy, chemistry, building, refractory material, environmental protection, etc. 
In urban life and production, sewage sludge is mainly reflected in domestic sewage sludge, industrial sewage sludge, water supply sludge, river dredging sludge, water supply and drainage pipe network sludge, etc.; among them, the output is large, the pollution level is high, The most harmful and difficult to dispose of is domestic and industrial sewage sludge.



For domestic sludge, there is no method for effectively using domestic sludge in the prior art. On the one hand, it will cause serious pollution, and on the other hand, it has the defect of high processing cost.
Aiming at the shortcomings of the prior art, a sludge treatment process-a process method for manufacturing ceramsite from domestic sludge is provided. The process method for manufacturing ceramsite from domestic sludge can effectively harmlessly treat domestic sludge. The domestic sludge is made into ceramsite with a wide range of uses to realize recycling economy and reuse.
 
 
 1. Technical scheme
A process method for manufacturing ceramsite from domestic sludge, including the following process steps, specifically:
A. Put the domestic sludge in a mixer, and mix the domestic sludge evenly through the mixer;
B. Put the evenly stirred domestic sludge in a granulation kiln for granulation treatment to prepare ceramsite;
C. Put the ceramsite processed by the granulation kiln in a rotary kiln for calcination, the temperature of the calcination process is 550-1300 degrees Celsius, and the time of the calcination process is 5-50 minutes;
D. Remove the calcined ceramsite from the rotary kiln and cool it at room temperature for 5-30 minutes.
Wherein, the water content of the domestic sludge is 20%-80%.
